Our mission is to provide an alcohol-free and drug-free facility for hosting Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, related 12-step programs, and other activities of the Thruway Recovery Stop, Inc. We are committed to promoting and maintaining sobriety by upholding the ideals of the recovery community. Additionally, we strive to increase the visibility and accessibility of the recovery community within the geographic area we serve. Our operations are conducted without financial profit, focusing entirely on fulfilling our mission to support individuals on their recovery journey.
We are a nonprofit site dedicated to recovery meetings, fellowship, and recreation. Our mission is to provide hope for those struggling with alcoholism, drug addiction, or other challenges addressed by 12-step programs. We offer a safe haven for individuals who feel afraid, lonely, or are suffering. All 12-step groups that use our space for meetings operate independently and maintain their autonomy.
An Alano Club is a discreet name for community centers that host meetings for Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon Family Groups, and other 12-step fellowships. None of our executive officers or board members receive compensation, ensuring that all resources are directed toward supporting our mission and community.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization owned solely by our members and funded entirely through rents, dues, contributions, and sales. This funding is critical to supporting our mission. As a nonprofit corporation, your contributions are tax-deductible, helping us continue to serve those in need.
